AgroNomics, Vision 2013 - a U.S. Agricultural Investment Conference
& Trade Show - is set to open October 29, 2012 in Indianapolis, IN.
The conference, presented by the American Society of Farm Managers and
Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA), will run through November 2, 2012. AgroNomics
has been billed as the place for leading investors and fund managers to
connect with the nation’s rural land experts. Attendees will gain
insight from targeted program sessions on global investments and land
markets, the increasing role of institutional investors in agriculture,
the future of farmland values, and agriculture’s role in 21st century
economics. “We’re building off the success of last year’s conference,
which proved to be the event for ag investors, fund managers, land
managers, property valuators, ag consultants, and rural land and
property sales experts,” said Paul Joerger, AFM, who is this year’s
AgroNomics Program Chair and President-Elect of ASFMRA. “This event
gives attendees the opportunity to get immersed in topics that will keep
them informed about the ever-changing ag investment landscape.” The
2012 conference is being held in conjunction with the 83rd Annual
Meeting of ASFMRA at the Westin Indianapolis Hotel.
